Every radio station wants to be the first to break hot news at the best quality. Daily reporters are confronted with the challenge to do so live at all times, from all places and under varying circumstances. In the course of time countless news and sports reports as well as live 2-way interviews have been made with You/Com reporter equipment. You/Com's new reporter unit, successor to the renowned ReporterSet and aptly named You/ComSET2, is based on the latest technology as well as experience acquired over the past years. SET2 fulfills the reporter's primary needs. It offers perfect audio quality (20 kHz). It is compatible with existing codec equipment (J.52). Moreover, it can use ISDN, PSTN and satellite networks. SET2 is well-designed, light, battery-powered and easy to operate. It features 2 mic/line inputs and 2 independently controlled headphone outputs. A very welcome feature for large events is connection to the so-called "international sound". To extend the multi-purpose use of SET2 the following options are available: 15 kHz low delay (10ms), an internal battery charger for NiMH batteries (6 hour operation!).
