Line Handling System and Screening Information System
Ideally, incoming telephone calls from listeners or journalists to a programme are initially screened. If found suitable, these calls are either put on hold or on-air using a Line Handling Console (LHC) which is able to handle a number of calls simultaneously. This Line Handling Console can be a small and elegant hardware console or a software tool on a PC. The mere push of a button or a mouse click puts a caller on air. A complete and efficient system for talk radio, would therefore consist of an ISDN hybrid (our StudioSet), Line Handling Consoles for use by max. 3 persons simultaneously, as well as the Screening Information Software providing necessary information to both the screener and the presenter. The presenter remains in charge as he chooses whom to put on air and when. More info: Specifications...
